My Grandma's Cabin {Fairview, Utah}

There's something magical about this log cabin. The way the cabin is decorated, the natural light that floods every floor, the incredible view of the lake, playing horseshoes and having bonfires, board games, Grandma's famous hot chocolate, good food, and my best friends on earth- my family.

(some beautiful wildflowers that were picked to clear the way for the horseshoe pit, and abandoned muddy shorts drying on the railing)

{all the little kids have to wear whistles in case they get lost, and a double leaner in a game of horseshoes}

It snowed on the 4th of July- can you believe it?! It snowed really hard for about an hour, and there was even a rolling mist crossing the lake... it took about another hour and then the weather went back to looking like this:

Is this the same cabin where I've had sleepovers with you? I loved it!

Hey, so your smoothie post is gone...don't know what happened. But have you seen Callie's blog (Jon's wife)? moozoocooks.blogspot.com

Her grilled cheese with apple sandwiches are to die for and I'm dying to try her veggie sandwich and Callie's salad when vegetables appeal to me again. Right now I can't stomach them. :)
