Testing, testing, 1,2,3. Anybody out there?

Well hello again! I get a big fat F for being a slacker blogger so far this summer. We're back, and we are never leaving Manhattan again!

Ok, that's not very probable. Never is a long time. But honestly, I am so happy to back in our little apartment. Being away from home for 5 weeks reconfirmed what I've known for nearly a year- I'm where I'm supposed to be. What a wonderful feeling.

I have missed blogging more than you can image, and while daily posts are unlikely (though you can bet they will be on my to-do list each day), I can't wait to show you what I've been up to over the last few months...

[we jumped right back into a routine here by throwing a little party for Jones in the park on his birthday Thursday, going to the NY Botanical Gardens with the kids Friday, and then I enjoyed attending a baby shower Saturday morning and an impromptu ladies' night that evening.  It's so great to be back. I love this city!]

Hold, Please {Where I've Been and Where I'm Going}

If any of you are still out there, I just wanted to say hello from the road. We're on a month-long epic journey from NYC to Utah, Idaho, Arizona, and Oregon.

For those of you who read this blog for photography or party planning ideas, I have about 6 million portrait sessions from NYC to blog about, our family vacation, 3 weddings, and my son's 1st birthday party to come. If you read this blog for anything else, I've got nothin'. Sorry about that :)
