Regent's Park Roses {London, England}

I'm so far behind with blogging, it's not even funny.  I'm still hopeful that I can get caught up a bit and show you favorite sessions and weddings from last fall (sheesh!), but in the meantime, here are some lovely English roses from one of my favorite places in London: Regent's Park.  It feels as if it's frozen in time, and it's off the beaten path, so I often find that I have the place to myself.   Of the Royal Parks in Central London, you'll find the least amount of tourists here.

The English roses in the gardens are absolutely incredible, and when topped with fresh raindrops, they are perfection. If you visit London, put Regent's Park on your list, and don't miss Queen Mary's Gardens or the Avenue Gardens. It's a tossup, but the Avenue Gardens are my favorite.

M+D in London {Hampstead + Hampstead Heath Engagement Portraits}

We're happily settled here in London, and I'm thrilled to show you this gorgeous engagement session from a few weeks back.  After busy season, the holidays, and an international move, it feels wonderful to be shooting again following a much-needed hiatus.  It's so good to be back.
London is an incredible city with a surprise around every corner. If you know where to look, you can feel like you're in the middle of nowhere in a quaint village, and the next moment find yourself on the high street in the center of bustling London.
We shot in Hampstead, which is one of my favorite parts of London.  For a true town and country feel, we shot in both Hampstead Village and Hampstead Heath, including Kenwood House and its beautiful grounds.  What resulted is an amazing array of backdrops that really give you a sense for London's beauty, this fabulous couple, and the life that they share.
 It is always such an honor to capture a moment in time for a couple in love.

Can you spot Hampstead (hint: it's in focus, and it's on the Northern Line, which is black)
