Kate {Portrait of a Tiny New Yorker}

Happy belated Mother's Day! I'm so glad that blogger is up and running again (I'm sure you are too), and I'm even happier that I can finally share this post.  I think it perfectly celebrates the wonderful women in our lives who willingly love and care for us.

Meet Kate and her beautiful mama... This session made me long for portraits like these with my own little ones. What a pleasure it was to spend a gorgeous spring morning in NYC with these lovely ladies.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Audrey {Portrait of a Tiny New Yorker}

 I've been photographing Audrey every month since her birth, and what a pleasure it is to see how she's grown and developed since the last time we met (perhaps I'll get around to posting our last three sessions in, oh, a year or so. I'm so behind!). 

I love this age where everything, and I mean everything, is utterly fascinating. It cracks me up how serious they are about examining their hands and feet, different textures, new toys, different sounds, their clothing, and pretty much anything and everything.

A child's world is filled with wonder, and watching them makes me see mine differently too.
