This picture my sister Erin shot {from this fabulous shoot} is making me really happy. As you can see from the fall foliage update below, the leaves are still preparing to turn here in Manhattan. Leave it to NYC to arrive fashionably late to the New England color-fest while the rest of the region is already peaking.
It will still be a few weeks before the leaves turn. I can wait. Fall is my favorite and I'll cling to every last, lovely autumn day in the city. I have a feeling this winter will be a doozy.
