I'm sure you'll be able to tell by the number of images I'm posting below, but I had an absolute blast capturing this family of three. Pete's an amazing chef/advertising whiz and Charlotte is a talented writer, so there is plenty of creativity in this family (we expect great things from little Amelia)
If you remember Ella's amazing birthday cake from earlier this year, Pete and Charlotte were the masterminds behind it. Charlotte puts in her two-bits for the creative/design aspect of cake creation, and Pete works his magic bringing that creativity to life (see examples HERE, and HERE). I have been floored by everything Pete whips up, and if you ever have the occasion to sample one of his Bakewell Tarts (probably only you Anglophiles like me will have ever had an authentic one) you'll think you've died and gone to Derbyshire. Anyway.
They wanted to put their own touch on these family portraits, so Charlotte styled the shoot and Pete made a gorgeous tiered cake with pink frosting to add the perfect touch. My sister Stacey came along to shoot and we both politely refused cake when we finished our session... and then regretted that choice about 10 seconds later.
And by the way, it's a good thing my sisters and I all live in different states or they'd put me out of business. And because she doesn't have a public blog for all things creative like Erin does (a-HEM... get one already, Stace) check out Stacey's shots at the bottom of this post.
Stacey's shots below:
(this first one I think is one of the best images from the entire shoot- well done STACE!)
Thanks Stace! You're amazing!
