C+P {New York City Engagement Portraits}

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. When fate gives you an opportunity to photograph an incredibly beautiful couple in Central Park, the Metropolitan Hotel, 5th Ave, in a cab, and in the subway, you take millions and millions of beautiful portraits and then grin for three weeks straight as a result.  Ok, not millions, but at least tens of thousands.

Try to choose a favorite. I dare you.

p.s. C's friend was with us during most of the session and at one point a gentleman approached her, and in hushed tones he asked "who are they?"  Apparently, I wasn't the only one who thought I was shooting a celebrity/professional model couple.

Hey! Thanks for the comments on my blog as well! Isn't it fun when you "meet" new bloggers, especially when they live in the same city as you? I love it!

The cake batter bars might ship... I would recommend waiting until the weather cools down because the marshmallow in them could get sticky/melty if it got too warm. They were so easy to make!

Okay, now onto these engagement pictures. A-mazing. Like, I want to be engaged so I can take these pictures with you amazing. I love them all! What a beautiful couple. And NYC is such a great place to take these kinds of pictures. Great work!

Hope you continue to enjoy my blog. I will be following yours! I recently posted info about adding an email to blogger profiles (http://daina-newyorkstateofmind.blogspot.com/2011/08/lovely-readers.html). If you add your email I can directly reply to your comments through email, which is always nice :)

Talk to you soon!

It's agreed (by Sam & I): you have THE gift. Beautiful work (as usual), Les! I so wish you were closer.

My favorites: where the couple is framing the fountain, the subway mirror shot. Narrowing it down to two is pretty good, right?

Holy crap. These are the best ones I've seen yet I think. I mean, everything you do is good, but seriously these are amazing. I want to do engagement shots in the Subway. Too bad I'm not anywhere close to that...

You're right, I can't! I've got to take them as a storyboard because they all capture tidbits of their story! But I will say that I adore the ones of them in the cab, the groom tipping into the water, and the full length of them kissing in the street. Also, is there ANY chance that I could have her as a personal shopper? So cute! And fabulous job to you, too, my love!

Have just stumbled upon your wonderful blog, and I'm ever so glad I did. Your pictures are just so beautiful, I actually gasped when I saw a few of these! I only wish you lived in London so I could hire you myself!
