Just before we headed back to New York City, we stopped for brunch at Castle Hill Inn. It was the perfect way to end our trip, and the live jazz band, incredible food, and gorgeous views made it really, really hard to leave. As we enjoyed our meal, we could hardly believe that the sun might actually appear for the first time our entire trip. Not only did the sun come out from behind the wall of clouds, but they virtually disappeared and left us squinting into a bright blue sky. It was unbelievable given the westher we'd had. We whipped out our sunglasses for the first time, and basked in the warm glow of the sun as we took in the view from our Adirondack chairs. Sigh.
It was a perfect trip. It was relaxing, yet full of fun adventures and new experiences. It was also the first girls' trip I've ever gone on, and it certainly won't be the last!
Oh, and I came home with a newfound love for lobster. Yum.
