We eat a lot of eggs around our house, so to anticipate Easter I thought it would be fun to dye eggs a couple of times throughout the month and use the eggs as we go (instead of dying them on Easter and then having a whole carton of eggs that are more nauseating than festive after the Easter season has passed).
Aren't these eggs happy? I find myself going back to the fridge often just to open the carton and see the bright colors. We tried vinegar instead of water this year. I highly recommend it! You can dye the eggs pastel in seconds, or leave them in for a few minutes for really vibrant colors.
