On our first day in Maui, we jumped in our sweet silver convertible and headed north to explore. Lahaina was a wonderfully quaint, relaxing town. It reminded me a lot of Key West with its laid-back feel and gorgeous historic architecture. The banyan tree at the center of town was incredible. I literally stopped and stood for a few seconds when I saw it. Truly a sight to behold and experience.
I had a wee bit too much fun with my camera around town, as you will see by the plethora of images below. So many favorites (with the last one on the right being one of them) I am having a really hard time not posting all the pictures I took.
And for those of you who have been waiting patiently, yes, this is the first of many Hawaii posts. Hooray! Mahalo and goodnight.

OHHH I can't wait to see more! I LOVE that tree. And the wheel and bricks--I would put that on my wall. You are one talented lady my friend!! :)

That tree is amazing. Just as I remember it from my trip in 3rd grade!
BEAUTIFUL! As always.
